A reminder to all players, parents and coaches:
Mahtomedi Youth Baseball defines it "Fair Play/Equal Play policy as follows;
Over the course of the season, players in the age group of 10-13 years old should be able to expect an equal number of innings and at bats as the other players on their team.
Players 14 and 15 years old do not have continuous batting and free substitution. It needs to be understood every player will not necessarily result in equitable playing time at this age group. The coach always determines the playing positions - we do encourage rotation so that every player develops a cross section of baseball skills.
Factors that might affect this balance include attendance at games or practices, and coach or parent applied discipline.
